Flight to Geneva: Tunisair departs with an A330-200
To meet the growing demand on its Tunis-Carthage to Geneva route, Tunisair has decided to replace its two A319 and A320 aircraft with a larger A330-200.
With its capacity to accommodate 266 passengers in two classes: Business (24 seats) and Economy (242 seats), representing 94 additional seats compared to the other two aircraft usually operated on this international route, Tunisair expects to generate more revenue from its weekly flight operated every Sunday throughout the summer season.
According to Aeroroute, A330 flights between Tunis and Geneva will operate until September 14.
Tunisair’s revenue increase
The national airline recorded a significant increase in revenue during the April-June quarter. It announced a quarterly profit of 728 million DT, up from 697 million DT last year.
