Helvetic Airways launches its Bern – Monastir flight

Helvetic Airways landed at Monastir Habib Bourguiba Airport on June 2nd from Bern Airport, announcing the start of a seasonal flight to the Tunisian Sahelian city. This will be served once a week, operated on Fridays, aboard a 110-seat Embraer 190 aircraft.

The Swiss airline thus becomes the first to offer a direct flight between the two destinations.

Tickets for this flight are available on the website www.helvetic.com and at authorized travel agencies.

According to Mélanie Lefebvre, Managing Director of TAV Tunisia, which operates Monastir and Enfidha airports, “We are delighted to be collaborating with Helvetic Airways, including Tui Switzerland and Hotelplan, to launch this new route.”

Helvetic Airways is thus strengthening its services to Tunisia from Bern Airport, which also connects to Djerba. This new service once again confirms the Swiss airline’s growth in the Mediterranean region and our international reach.
